The reason any manual gearbox jumps out of any particular gear is down to too much clearence between the teeth on the sliding hub and the teeth on the particular gear usually caused by wear which is sometimes due to poor lubrication
The Ford Mondeo ST220 could be jumping from 2nd gear due to a chipped gear or worn shifter fork. The transmission will probably need to be taken apart to be repaired.

on the top gear that is the camshaft gear the gear is made of a composite material. after time the composite wears down and gets brittle cause it to fail

I believe the jack and lug nut wrench are stowed behind the passenger seat If you have the extended cab with jump seats, they are behind the passanger side jump seat (fold down the jump seat back).
If it is the supercab the lug wrench and the jack are located under the jump seat on the passenger side, at least in a 95 they are.

However, for someone to be sent to Ranger School without being sent to jump school first is rare, but not entirely unheard of. totaly absurd: To be part of the 1st,2nd or any ranger Batt you must pass airborne training You must be jump qualified no if and or buts. The only persons who have gone thru ranger trianing without being jump qualified are trainees during WWII Ive served with the 1st ranger batt,2nd ranger batt,1/509 airborne and 5 special forces.
