Somewhere, there is a loose wire, a broken wire, or a wire with the insulation scraped off. Go back to the right rear light and find your problem wire and fix it. You blow fuses rather than burn out your battery. Fuses are less expensive than batteries.
If memory serves me right, each tail light assembly has a printed circuit board that the bulbs plug into. That circuit board burns out. That part is available from the Chevy dealer.
those fuese carry your ecm and eprom
Have you checked the fuses or bulbs?
is on the kick panel inside car, theres 2 seperate fuses on top right, away from the other fuses.
If you are asking can I put a 10 amp fuse in instead of a 5 amp ,the answer is yes. However do not leave it in there. It is ok in an emergency, if the 10 blows right away , then you will have to find your problem.. Always try to keep the proper size fuses installed. Right between blinker fluid and Johnson shaft
Loose or corroded ground connection on the right headlight assembly.
Right below the Maintenance light is a small slot, noticalbly the same size as the ignition key. insert the ignition key into this slot (it will only go in about a 1/4 inch). This will reset the light to green and start the counter again.
You must replace the bulb first, and if it still blows the fuse, check the socket, and if that is ok, then start with the wiring and switch.
short to ground before the AC, check the wire from the fuse and see if it makes contact ...ANYWHERE even right at the neg terminal with any other grounds or wires
