We are at the perfect distance away so that our planet is burned by the sun, yet, we are still close enough that our planet is supported by it. We also have a thick enough ozone to support life.

Earth's rotation isn't "peculiar" in any regard; it's pretty similar to many other planets. Some are faster, like Jupiter; some slower like Mars. Once we go to other star systems and get some more information about other planets, we'll be able to discuss this more generally.

It isn't particularly unique. Within our own solar system, some planets have a higher axial tilt, and some have less.

When we send probes to check out the planets in other star systems, we're likely to see a WIDE variety of axial tilts.

Yeah, it's Uranus. I am taking a class in Astronomy and the text book I have says that Uranus probably grazed a different planet or a planet-sized object.

Because it's quite large.

The sun and moon both take about a month to rotate once.
