The animals rebelled because:

1. Mr. Jones was becoming a bad owner, drinking his earnings away and forgetting to feed the animals.

2. Old Major, the prize boar on the farm, urged the animals to envision a better world where animals govern and that is how they should be treated, not giving all the fruit of their labor to humans.

Then the animals rebelled to achieve Old Major's dream. The song Beasts of England was the animals motivational song for rebellion.

if an animal is locked up all day in a cage and only walked a little. That animal wants to get out. It doesn't want to stay in there and do nothing while everything else is roaming fee other places! It wants to be out! I have a German shorthair and it allways wants to go on a talk. But if I don't walk her. That energy and wanting to go out builds up. And soon she will just get the need to break free!
