Need new rotors...pads in my case, same thing happened to me...
Steering wheel and brake pedal.
bad front brakes.
It sounds like either the brake rotors have been worn down to the fins, or the brake shoes may be binding on one side. Either way, get it to a mechanic soon.
Warped rotors
You possibly have warped brake rotors on the front. Or Bad Wheel Bearings.
Most likely warped brake discs
You may need a wheel alignment, or you may need bushings.
You need an alignment.
you loose control of steering cause your steering wheel locks up
Your AC should have NOTHING to do with your barking system, as it is not tied into the vacuum of the engine. If your wheel shakes under braking, then you need to replace your rotors and pads.
If it shakes all the time it is a tire/wheel problem. If it only shakes when braking then it is a brake problem.
Excessive noise, shudder in the steering wheel when turning it in either or both directions, leaks. IF YOU CAN TURN YOUR WHEEL LEFT TO RIGHT WITH OUT IT BINDING AND THERE ARE NO LEAKS AT THE RACK THEN MORE THAN LIKELY YOU RACK AND PINION ARE OK
