It is important to preserve the Wetlands because many species of plants and animals will become extinct without them. The Wetlands also help keep water levels normal and purify the water. It is important to preserve wetlands because it is still land. You would not want the lands to flood.

Well one reason is that the trees and plants in these forest wetlands are taking in CO2 from the atmosphere which combats global warming. They also give off oxygen, which we use. There could be many unknown medicines in some of the plant species. If the forest wetlanf were destroyed, we would loose these species and their potential medicinal qualities. Also, the wildlife in these areas most likely gives inspiration to artists and writers and just people in general.

Wetlands need to be preserved because animals live their and destroying the wetlands would destroy the animals' homes and could make them go extinct. Also, the wetlands are great sources of Natural Resources.
