its on the trunk the left hand side of the car
The button should be DOWN on the fuel pump shut off switch ( inertia switch ) If the button has popped up then no power is going to the electric fuel pump

I am not exactly sure about the Lincoln Town car, but Ford has several models that have inertia switches that are located in the trunk. That is what they are called. They shut off the fuel flow to the engine.
