Could be the fuel filter or fuel pump. An engine needs 4 things to run, fuel, air, compression, and spark. Your problem could be related to any of these. Its pretty easy to check your air filter. Hard to check the fuel filter or fuel injectors. Compression is probably not the issue, spark plugs are easy to change but probably not your issue either.
Start with checking/replacing air filter, clean the mass airflow sensor at the same time (its attached to the air filter box) with electronics cleaner spray, and then clean your throtle body (you don't have to remove it, just detach the hose and clean as you work the open/close valve by hand. If none of that helps, you want to check the fuel pump.

sounds like a transmission problem to me, clutch or g'box? dunno why it works when its hot, maybe the clutch slips more when its cold???
When changing all of the brake shoes on an Echo, take one pair off of one wheel. Open the new box of shoes. Physically match the proper new ones up to find the ones that go on the front wheels.
Because your transmission cable is broken and it must be broken near the transmission end You have to See your mechanic in transmission to replace it

to stall your car
The rear brake shoes between the two cars are probably the same. Afterall they are both the same car, just with a different name, so I think that the brake pads are the same to go along with it.
