Upon boot up of the Zune 80 the system runs through some checks and boots the hard drive if all is clear. We will consider these for the rest of the answer as Error 4 or Error 5. The only fix for this is a hard reset, and a attempt to reinstall a corrupted file system on the hard drive. Worse case scenario, the drive is not working, and if you listen closely you will hear clicking, grinding crackling sounds. The hard drive is edad. If you get a Error 5 "Contact Support" You most likely always have a dead hard drive. No more testing for that one. Error 5 is a loss of cumminicatio to the drive.
