Why does your computer say it goes to sleep when the light is still on but the screen is black?

The reason the light stays on when the computer goes to sleep but only projects black is because it makes it faster to load up.
I, Jakestoner am the one who asked the question, and thank you for the suggestion Morely, but I have already tried that and waited for ten minutes one time and it does not work. Anyone else have the answer? It is a serious problem.

∙ 13y agoBecause there is no input from the computer, and nothing to display. Having nothing else to do, it turns off the lights an just sits there.
