Dear Questioner, The answer to that question is very simply explained. I just discovered a remedy for the iPod problem that nobody knows how to fix! If your iPod won't charge at all, what you do is described in the following steps: 1. Connect the iPod to a computer (any computer) 2. Reset the iPod and go to the secret debug menu by holding down Middle+Rewind 3. Go to Power -> Charge current 4. Let charge on computer for 2 hours 5. If it isn't working, then send your iPod in I hope this has been helpful to you. If not, e-mail me at RichieDude93@hotmail.com and tell me your actual problem. Sincerely, Richie Stafford
i bought an after market ipod dock and it did`nt work. so i bought a genuine apple ipod dock and again it works but im not getting any sound from it . i have connected it with a genuine apple a/v lead. thanx.
I would suggest checking the iPod cord to make sure that there isn't any rips or anything like that. If there isn't any I would go ahead and replace the cord. If that doesn't work, I would take the iPod back to the place you got it and see if they can help.
It depends on the docking station. Check the brands manuel*. Also it may be a connection problem...(i hope not that would really suck)
Any iPod dock will work. You just need the 3rd generation slide to put in the dock so the iPod can stand upright correctly.
It only works with the dock it came with. It won't work on the nano or touch docks.
Yes.
Try charging your Ipod.

There could be several reasons why the iPod dock won\'t charge your iPod. The dock may be damaged or the charger simply has worn out.Check to be sure the dock is compatible with your iPod.
