What they are really sayng is that they don't want a relationship with you. or her. or that someone in particular. When they meet the right girl, ALL they will want is a relationship with that person. Sometimes they just plain dont want a relationship. if you were asking them if they wanted to get laid, it might be a different story... plus it depends on the guy. AT a younger age like the good ole teenage years most men are only in it for sex since many women of the same age are chilidish as are the men so no relationship can really be formed that is decent. it will only lead in heartache. I agree with all of the above! If they are saying they don't want a relationship, they may be saying that they are too young or immature to invest time in getting to know you. If your boyfriend is saying this, MOVE ON! Don't waste anymore of your time with this person.

∙ 14y agoSome boys want girlfriends and other's don't, but I think that most boys will begin dating at some point in their life. It all depends on how old they are or whether or not they are ready for a relationship.

∙ 13y agoWell, you have to understand that not every man wants to be in a relationship. Those who do not usually just don't want to be committed to one girl. If you're looking for a guy and you want a relationship, make it clear to him that your looking for more then just a "friends with benefits" relationship.

In another way, you may look at it as a breakup without the finality of knowing why. The wise woman would let him go since the commitment isn't there.
