Why don't the sims 2 cheats work?

You normally have to try and go to the other island. But when you do they will just randomly apperar just walking past you. You have toget a conversation going and try to befriend them, then they will join your tribe :D

(this includes PS2 cheats) On sims 2 castaway for the Wii you first have to press B, Z, Up, Down, B to spawn the Cheat Gnome after which you must enter the desired cheat(s)* then find the gnome. The gnome will say "Max..." and/or "Gimme..." Mostly, YOU HAVE TO ENTER THE CHEAT FOR THE GNOME THEN THE CHEAT YOU WANT AND FIND THE GNOME. The gnome is every were. All islands, every transision from place to place. If you look hard enough, you cant miss it.

*Wii (the directions us the D-pad)

(Quickly press Minus, Plus, Z, Z, A. All Motives.)

(Quickly press Plus, Plus, Minus, Minus, Z. All Plans.)

(Quickly press A, A, Down, Down, A. All Crafting Resources.)
