they are plain but colourful. the men wear lungi and the younger generation wears a shirts. the women of lakshadweep wear kachi it can't be explained properly..

Yes men do wear scarves just like they wear pants and a shirt and a sweater, i dont know what would make u think that men cannot wear scarves
