It could be sticky or worn valve parts.
Most higher end luxury vehicles are designed not to blow cold air and fan starts after engine coolant temperature is warm
If if starts bubbling even if the engine is cold, most likely blown head gasket. If only when engine warm, stuck thermostat.
Had this problem with my '87. I believe it was a bad fuel injector.
Only when it is cold.
If the battery is tired and the engine is hard to start hot that could set a low voltage code. But the only way to know is to have the computer scanned
Your Idle Air Control valve may be sticking. Or the engine oil is to cold, thickens there is more power needed to crank the engine.
check and see if your thermostat is stuck open(top of engine block). depending where you live, water could be slushy or frozen in your engine.
inlet 0.15 cold only outlet 0.32 cold only
Glow plugs are installed in diesel engines for one purpose only: to aid in cold starts. They only should be used when the engine has not been run for some time, which varies depending on the outside temperature. The glow plugs are not needed when the engine is at operating temperature.
A cold air intake is a performance device which has a relatively minor impact when running your engine under duress. It will help cool and aspirate the engine, but you probably only need one if you like to drive faster than the law allows. Your car will perform somewhat better with a cold air intake. That's because it does a better job of cooling the engine when it's under duress and because cold air is denser which better aspirates the engine. However for most people the difference would be hard to notice. Those who did notice would be exceeding the speed limit.
resistance somewhere in starter circuit
I have the same problem with my 99. It is almost like the idle starts very low and it puts a little a dies. It usually only happens for the first run in a cold morning. I have the same problem with my 99. It is almost like the idle starts very low and it puts a little a dies. It usually only happens for the first run in a cold morning. I also have the same problem on a 2000 4L. All the normal tune up things don't help. The check engine light never comes on. You have to keep your foot on the gas until the engine warms a little then it will run fine until the truck sits overnight again. It also seems like soon as I can get it to run well enough to put it in gear it will run better.
