Pleople have being most intrigued by John the Baptist, Jesus and his disciples, mainly in my view is that in the Old Testaments there are wars and strifes , while in the New Testaments there are more "mercy and love" of which a lot of us can really relate to. So people are drawn to those aspects, in that regard Christians have been practicing to be good samaritians, and that fact has been practiced for generation to generation across many borders, and considering that "Jesus" is the central figure it is hard not to recognise his noterity.
Jesus is considered the Messiah and Savior. Christianity's basic belief is that the martyrdom of Jesus caused the sins of all believers to be forgiven, and the believer is saved from eternal damnation and will be with God after death.
The Bible says the penalty due mankind for rebelling against God is death, after life. In the book called Hebrews in the New Testament of the Bible it says:
Hebrews 9:27 And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment,
The bible also say a person can be saved from death after life and have life after death this is called salvation. In the Bible the way of salvation is through the death of Jesus Christ, which God has accepted as a suitable payment for mankind's rebellion. The first book of John, in the Bible, says:
1Jn 5:11 And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son.
1Jn 5:12 He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.
By accepting God's gift of His son (Jesus) you will receive life after death.
Are you kidding? Without Jesus, there'd be no christianity. It's like asking why water is important in a swimming pool.
He is the perfect sacrifice that allows us to be forgiven and come home to God. He is Gods answer to the rift between us and Him, caused by our sins. He's the Enabler that makes us compatible again with God and heaven.
The Christian faith basically says that all have sinned and are worthy of death (Romans 6:23) and that we are all in need of a Savior. Jesus, the Son of God, is that Savior, which is why He is the foundation of Christianity.
Answer:
Jesus is the only member of the two-being godhead mankind has/is interacting with. As such the Kingdom of God is the centerpiece of the entire Bible, thus Jesus' main message:
Matthew 3:2New King James Version (NKJV)2 and saying, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand!"
Jesus Christ - Christian.
Without Christ there would be no Christians. Christianity is based on the death of Jesus being a satisfactory sacrifice.

The basic message of Christianity is that Our Blessed Lord came to earth in order to redeem mankind from its sins through His Suffering, Death, and Resurrection. When mankind fell into sin in the Garden, we offended an infinitely perfect God, thus our sin was infinite and we were unable to atone for it. The only way in which it could be atoned was for God to come to earth, assume our humanity, and offer Himself to the Father in atonement for our sins. This is what His entire life on earth was about, and it is central to the Christian faith. The crucifixion of Our Blessed Savior is re-presented to each of us at every holy Mass.
Because of this the entire of Christianity revolves around Jesus Christ, and Him Crucified.
Jesus Christ is the center of Christianity, Without him there would be no Christianity, This is why we need that relationship with him. He is Christianity.
Because his suffering and death, for us, is the central tenet of the religion... that is why it is called "Christ"-ian.
A:Jesus Christ is central to the Christian religion because it is based around his teachings, death and resurrection as told in the Bible.
