There are a number of saints named Francis so you need to be more specific.
It lives in the central states (Illinois is a good example).
Both are guides as to how a good Christian should live their life. The main difference is that the Ten Commandments are more prohibitive, whereas the Beatitudes are more of a "To-Do" list. Also, the Beatitudes list blessings received for following them.

The reason the Beatitudes are important are because, they are the eight things that jesus taught the folks when they walked to him. They are also important because, they teach us how to live a good life, a way that Jesus wanted to and the rewards that God will give us in the end for the acts that we have done.
That's an interesting question. I think that what we learn from the scriptures is that God wants us *all* to make ourselves eligible to be his disciples and to live up to the beatitudes, and to make an impact on the world through good works. I don't think that we have to be born as saints. We become saints as we work on living virtuous, kind, and generous lives, dedicated to serving God and other people.

Of course it does... they have many specific traditions in different areas of relief. For example, the people who lives in Constanţa, a coastal county, are very good fishermen and the people who lives in Braşov, a mountain county, are very good shepherds.
For example when working in with tourism or weather. Or when you meet someone who lives in for example Dublin, it's good to know which part of the world he/she comes from :)
