Why can a rocket fly into space?

it can fly because the fire that comes out of the back of the rocket is its thrust. So when the fire comes out the back it causes the rocket to thrust forward.Remember the fire comes out with a lot of force thats why the rocket is able to fly because of the thrust. The body of the rocket is a device that can stay in space and float in there which allows the rocket to stay in space. The fire thrusts the rocket up but only to get out of earths atmosphere because earth has gravity space doesn't. In space the rocket does the rest of the work which is floating in a place without gravity. hope this helped!

Does a rocket fall back if it runs out of oxygen?

No. A rocket does not need to fire its engines to stay in orbit. It does, however need fuel and oxygen to perform any maneuvers, so a rocket that runs out of oxygen will be stranded in space.

What is the princple behind the fire coming out from rocket?

The "fire" coming of rockets are the result of combusting fuels exhausting with tremendous force. This force is known as thrust. One analogy is that of a water bottle with significant pressure inside. If a hole is opened that pressure can escape moving the bottle quite powerfully. This is how water rockets work. Model rockets are similar by using solid chemicals that when lit push their energy downwards to move the rocket into the sky against gravity.

How did the scientist get the hubble telescope back to earth?

They haven't. Hubble is still goes around Earth once every hour and a half, and continues to take pictures. When it is too old, and all it's cameras fail, it will fire its small rocket engines and crash into Earth's atmosphere, where it will burn up. This will probably occur above the Pacific Ocean in the next 5-6 years.

What must a rocket overcome to be launched into space?

Alright, it is mainly the force of gravity. This is because if there was no gravity, you do not heat energy to fire the rocket up.
