Heat naturally moves to colder air. Place the heater on the floor and it will rise to the ceiling, as it is lighter than the cold air.
if it is placed near the ceiling the hot it release will go upwards and people in floor will not feel the hotness and it is because hot air is lesser in weight and it Will fly in the top.
on the floor on the floor
should be on floor.
Because heat rises.
Ceiling. Cold air fails
Because according to physics heat goes upward from downward and cool air goes upward to downward so it is best to place heater on the floor but air conditioner near the ceiling
because heat rises
A ceiling fan heater is a type of heater which works in the same way as a standard ceiling fan, but with a heating component. A person may want to use this type of heater if the room does not have access to central heat or any other heat source. An individual may also want to use this type of heater if there is not enough floor space for a standard room heater.
Heating vents should be placed near or on the floor in a room because heat travels up not down.
I'll make a guess. Your airconditioner drain may be plugged. Your heater core may be leaking. If you are brave enough to taste the fluid, as stronger taste may be engine coolant and indicate the heater core. If airconditioner, it would just be condensated water. I've heard of sunroofs leaking on occasion, could be street water if you have holes in your floor boards. Roll the window up when it's raining... grin
