Poisonous is not how I would define an acid. First of all, it depends on how strong is the acid we are considering. Every acid is corrosive (and so are bases) but if the acid is only slightly strong, like lemon juice, vinegar or even coke, you can drink or eat with no significant damage. Stronger acids such as muriatic acid used to clean or sulphuric acid, the one used in car batteries, are capable of burning your mouth (and even you skin) and your esophagus, resulting in fatal bleeding.
Hydrochloric acid by far the more dangerous and poisonous! It is fully ionized, whereas Carbonic acid is not.
Formic acid is very similar to carbolic, and in concentrated form is poisonous and can cause severe skin burns. It's vapor can be equally poisonous.
It is weakly acidic but extremely poisonous, though. ;)

It can be, yes, depending on what exactly is in the rain.

yes. they are formed mostly of Sulfuric Acid.
When poisonous gases like Sulphur dioxide and nitrous oxides get into the atmosphere, they get mixed with the water vapor and contribute to acid rain. The industries and automobiles are the major sources that release these poisonous gases.
acid rain
Acids are usually poisonous although few are not.
