Why is evolution bad?

There is much evidence that evolution has been at work for millions of years on Earth, as species now exist that did not exist before, while others have died out. The theory is sometimes seen at odds with Creationism when religious beliefs postulate that man and all other living things were created in their current forms.

The opposing ideas are not mutually exclusive, as science has still been unable to define the origin of life - abiogenesis or the creation of life from lifelessness.

However, some evolutionists who are atheistic will continue to argue against God as the Creator, and some religious faithful will continue to argue against evolution (and often all of genetics) as unprovable and false. It is unlikely that the impasse will be resolved to the satisfaction of all involved, at least in the immediate future of the world.

Is evolution bad? Well, evolution is a process, really, so as such it can't really be labeled as good or bad.

However, it can have good effects for some and bad effects for others.

For example, a frog evolves more powerful jumping legs. This can be "good" for the frog, but "bad" for its prey. It depends on the reference point.

----Evolution is good for that which is evolving. Everything advances, so everything must advance with it to keep up, just as the person above stated. Evolution is only bad to religion because it threatens all they believe. Other than that, evoltuion is all pro for what is evolving. (but not the prey)

It's not. Evolution is the adaptation of a species to better fit its environment. Without evolution, life could not sustain itself.
