It helps you if you want to get a scholarship. It also improves leadership skills. If you join, there will be allot of community service opportunities. I have been in NJHS since sixth grade and have NEVER regretted joining.
It can strengthen your college or Job Applications, plus you get an opportunity to volunteer and help others. I am an NHS member at a high school, and in my case, however, most of my volunteer hours are non-NHS related activities.
honor roll is important because it makes u proud of what u have done in school and proud of urself and shows u are a great student and it makes your peers proud and it really pays off all the work u do

Science National Honor Society was created in 2000.
