There are a couple theories about the title. The first two "Infamous" games ed a different protagonist, and "Infamous: Second Son" occurs 7 years later after "Infamous 2." Delsin, the new protagonist, is the next, or second, generation of conduits. Delsin is also Reggie's younger brother in the game, making him the second son in the family.
