You can write in block paragraphs, with no indents, and an empty line between each paragraph. Or press the Tab key once or twice to indent the first sentence at the start of a paragraph. I would still separate each paragraph with an empty line. Which ever style you use, do so consistently through the story.

Otherwise it is not always clear when a paragraph is being made, depending on if there is a line break between the last and new paragraphs. For instance, if there was no line break, the last sentence of the former paragraph could reach the end of the line, meaning a new line must be taken - therefore, this could appear as a new paragraph when it isn't, and vice versa. Get it?
