Hopefully you can see that both of these situations (although ridiculous) are lacking in exact standards of measurement.

∙ 13y agoIf things were not measured exactly, many things would go wrong. Physics as a science requires exact measurements, as a different measurement to the real one means a different input to what it should be, and therefore a different output. This can be very dangerous if it is large scale, and the predicted outcome differs from what will actually happen.
