Many soldiers have given their lives for their country, and many have served valiantly, to defend their country, so it seems that the least that we can do for veterans is to remember them on one day a year. Why is remembrance day important? Remembrance day is important because we need to have a chance to remember the soldiers who fought for us. Canadians wear a poppy to show respect. Some things to do is to t…hank a veteran, visit a cenotaph, wear a poppy, attend a ceremony, observe a minute of silence, and to remember on social media. (MORE)

It is important to remember those who have died and fought in the war because they sacrificed their own life for us. The soldiers, the ones that signed up for war, were both nervous and devastated. They signed up for war to fight for our country (Britain), for our leader!

It is also important because during the war, they lived in trenches. Trenches had really bad conditions like lice, animal such as rats and dieases. They have done well for us, even though the people that were not known or never found. The way we are living our lives, is because of the ones that passed away. If it wasn't for them, we would still be living in bad conditions and not being able to stand up for ourselves and that is why I believe that it is important to remember the ones that past.

Before our freedom, we were not able to speak our mind and stand up for what was right, so when the Veterans fought back to stand up against every law known, they did us a favor.

the people that died in war were putting their lives at risk so you would be safe they were technically saving your life. They are hero's and all of them should be remembered.

It is important to remember those who past for us, because they devoted their time, their love, and even their own lives so we can have what we have today. Everyday, we get to live life the way we wanted to, not live under some dictator, not able to speak for our rights, and not get to live life to the fullest. Before our freedom, we were not able to speak our mind and stand up for what was right, so when the Veterans fought back to stand up against every law known, they did us a favor. Without them, life would never be like this. That is why I appreciate for what they have done for us, and I honestly wished that they would be able to live life now and see what they have done. They have done good for us, and I think they are the bravest people in the world, even the people that are not known or never found, I bet they had the strongest determination to make a difference, even when they died, the will went on. That is why I believe it is important to remember those who past.
