I don't think its better, it simply depends in what context you want to use it.

eg in household, celcius is better since 0 is where water freezes so easier to talk to your friends...

But for science kelvin can be better since 0 is the absolute 0 point (you can't go lower) and the range you use in science is larger, think of the temperature of the sun or melting metal, etc

Which is better Celsius or Kelvin temperatures?

Celsius and Kelvin scale are also valid and useful. Celsius scale is a conventional scale based on the freezing and boiling point of water. Kelvin scale is an absolute, scientific, based on thermodynamics scale.

Why is Celsius better?

It has the same magnitude as the kelvin scale.

How is Lord Kelvin's scale different from Celsius?

Degrees in Kelvin scale = Degrees in Celsius scale + 273,15.

How many degrees is 30.0 degrees celsius on the kelvin scale?

The Kelvin scale is basically the Celsius scale +273. To convert any Celsius measurement to Kelvin, you simply add 273. 30 degrees Celsius = 303 degrees Kelvin.

What are the units of a kelvin scale Fahrenheit scale and celsius scale?

The units, in this case, are kelvin, degrees Fahrenheit, and degrees Celsius.

How do you Convert celsius scale into kelvin scale?

Very easily - simply add 273.15 to Celsius to get Kelvin.

Kelvin scale equals how many degrees on the Celsius scale?

The Kelvin and Celsius scales are both ways of measuring temperature. On the Celsius scale, zero degrees is actually 273.15 degrees Kelvin.

What is 0 Celsius on the kelvin scale?

0 degrees Celsius = 273.15 kelvin.

What is a 100 Celsius on a kelvin scale?

373 kelvin, just add 273 to whatever you have in Celsius and you have kelvin.

What measure temperature?

The basic unit is a Kelvin but it is common to use a degree Celsius. The Kelvin scale is absolute whereas the zero point on the Celsius scale is arbitrary.

What would be 50000c on a kelvin scale?

50273.15 K Conversion from Celsius to Kelvin is the temperature in Celsius + 273.15. Conversion from Kelvin to Celsius is the temperature in Kelvin - 273.15. Celsius and Kelvin use the same interval in the scale, however Kelvin starts at 0 degrees where Celsius starts at -273.15 degrees (absolute zero).

What is the Celsius absolute scale called?

the celsius absolute scale is called what?
