REMOVE THE THERMOSTAT AND PLACE IT IN A PAN OF WATER HEAT IT AND USING A MEAT THERMOMETER CHECK FOR WHEN IT OPENS...BUTIF YOUR GOING THROUGH THE BOTHER OF REMOVING IT YOU MIGHT AS WELL CHANGE IT..VERY INEXPENSIVE...
Check the radiator (and the resevoir) after it cools to see if radiator fluid has been filled to proper levelds. Also, check the radiator hoses. In addition, check the oil.
