That can happen when she is in heat. Petting her or touching her lower back while female hamsters are in heat cause them to stiffen up. It's somewhat like being in a state of Sexual Paralysis, and she cannot move.

This is what makes things more convenient for male hamsters to mate without being attacked or killed by an unwilling female. During mating, the male will instinctively claw and paw at the female's back, which will eventually make her hold still for him. It really only works if she is in heat though.

It means your hamster thinks your hand is another hamster and they think your going to mate with them. (usually females do this, because they have to let the male you know) So she thinks that your her mate. If it's a boy then Idk

Females stick teir tails up when they are ready to mate. This doesnt mean they will mate but it means they can. A female can mate every four days. You know it's the day when their tail sticks up when you pet them.
