You may have Testicular Cancer. Testicular cancer occurs when abnormal cells in the testicles divide and grow uncontrolled. Testicular cancer can develop in one or both testicles in men or young boys. Symptoms of testicular cancer include a lump, irregularity or enlargement in either testicle; a pulling sensation or feeling of unusual heaviness in the scrotum; a dull ache in the groin or lower abdomen; and pain or discomfort (which may come and go) in a testicle or the scrotum.

Testicular cancer can occur at any age, but most often occurs in men between the ages of 15 and 40.

^^^This is most likely false, it is common for men to form a pea-sized ball on either testicle, this is usually known as a harmless cyst from your body creating too much semen. However to be safe, you should discuss this with your medical physican. Caner at your age is very unlikely, 15 and 40 isn't correct, the true range is 20-65, and the tumer will form a bump instead of a ball and grown about .01-.5mm a year. Once again, a physical check-up is reccommended.

Also, that idiot that presented you may have cancer, this description of cancer is elementry and half baked, i wont edit it out, but just disregard it. It was most likely writtin by a high school student that did a report on cancer.

If it is not a huge difference or has changed recently, I wouldn't worry about it. They are not a matched pair and most aren't. Size, one lower than the other, low hanging or up close, are all possible and regardless, it is how you are made, so that's how you are supposed to be.

Heard a doctor on TV the other day that one testicle is supposed to be bigger than the other and hang lower. It's so they don't hit each other when you walk.

Is it natural for your left testicle to feel uncomfortable?

No, both testicles should normally feel comfortable. Any pain or discomfort in testicles should be taken to a doctor. Testicles can get infections and swellings like any other organ. See the link below.

Im 14 and one of my testicles is one half the size of the other and hangs lower it has been like this for about a year now What is wrong?

Nothing is wrong. In 95% of men, one testicle hangs lower than the other (usually the left one, but not always). Also, in the vast majority of men, one testicle is larger than the other (or smaller than the other - whatever your perspective may be).

Your baby is 4 and his testicles have not dropped what is wrong with him?

The cause of undescended testicle is unknown. Having a male relative (father/brother) who had the condition increases the risk, as well as premature birth, multiple births (twins, triplets, etc.), and low birth weight. A baby's testicles should descend in the first few months of life. If it doesn't occur after about 3 or 4 months, a doctor should be contacted. Your son should be taken to a doctor immediately. There are two reasons for that: 1) undescended testicles may not produce sperm. The reason testicles are outside of the body is because the temperature is cooler there than inside the body. This cooler temperature is crucial to the production of viable sperm. Getting the testicle to descend into the scrotum early enough in life is critical to ensuring that he has a chance of having children when he becomes an adult. 2) an undescended testicle is more likely to develop testicular cancer. An undescended testicle is a symptom of a condition known as cryptorchidism. There are usually no other symptoms except that the testicles aren't found in the scrotum. A surgery known as an orchiopexy is the main treatment.

If the testicle have lumps is it possible you cant make a girl pregnant?

If you think there's something wrong with your testicles, you need to consult a doctor. If necessary, he or she will arrange for your sperm to be tested. Please also note that fertility isn't always an 'all or nothing' thing. Some men have a low sperm count but aren't infertile.

Can testicles get twisted?

Yes and No. It is called testicular torsion. It is actually the spermatic cord that is twisted and this cuts of the blood supply to the testicle. If not corrected this can cause the testicle to die, then it has to be surgically removed. There are implants available for those who lose a testicle though, but just for looks, it won't be functional like a real testicle. The testicle itself cannot really twist, but the problem is still known as testicular torsion and many people think of it as a twisted testicle.

What is wrong if the testicles are not producing sperm or semen?

Testicles produce sperm. The prostate gland produces the semen fluid that helps nourish sperm. See a doctor for an exam to see if your prostate gland ducts are blocked.

If the right testicle hurts but has no lumps and also affects the kidney could there be something wrong?

Could be. Your testicle might have drawn back up into your body, wrapped around your ureter and redescended. Please go to doctor NOW.This would be very unusual , but possible and potentially harmful.
