Without it, you would die. cuz plants use photosynthesis to survive and make food for themselves. then animals eat the plants. and then we eat the plants and the animals that eat the plants. so if plants died, so would the animals that eat plants. and then when we dont have anymore plants and animals to eat... we go dead. :(

"when plants do photosynthesis, it produces oxygen as well as glucose. both of those things are needed for cellular respiration in humans. cellular respiration produces energy which humans need to survive. plants require carbon dioxide which is produced by cellular respiration in humans. "Animals need it as well as humans.

Because they are the producers and every food chain needs to start off with a producer. If it doesn't then the primary and secondary consumers of the food chain will eventually die out.

Why is supply chain management important in operations management?

Supply chain management is important because it enables the organization to deliver their products to their customers. Without an effect supply chain their customers will go to another company.

Why can't a food chain start without photosynthesis?

The food chain does not start with Photosynthesis because Photosynthesis is the process in which a plant makes sugar for it to survive. A food chain is more likely to start with grasses or a small rodent and or a bug

What benefits does photosynthesis have to a plant?

Photosynthesis is what keeps the plant alive, which converts the sunlight into energy and food. Without photosynthesis, plants would die. So in other words without photosynthesis plants wouldn't be here and the chain would lead to us not being here either. So photosynthesis is important to a plant because it keeps it alive.

Why is photosynthesis a critically important process?

Photosynthesis is the method which allows plants to make glucose(their source of nutriment). They are autotrophs and are located at the bottom of the food chain (the base if you will). If there is no more photosynthesis there is no more glucose. If there is no more glucose there is no more plants. If there is no more plants, there will be no more living things.
