Because humans are made so that we feel pleasure as a reward for doing things that we need to in order to survive. We are rewarded with a sensation of good taste when we eat food. Pie is food so it tastes good to us. :-) Also, the blend of crisp pastry and whatever filling, goes very well together. Pie is the best food in the world! Eat it dudes and dudetts!! P.S.
