this would be due to incorrect timing of the engine maybe due to the cambelt slipping (NOT GOOD) this could cause major damage to the engine. the intake valves are opening too early, not letting the combustion inside the engine finish before the next bang.
the intake manifold is what takes air coming from the intake and directs it to each intake valve in each cylinder
A cold air intake regulates the amount of cold air coming into a car and ensures the air is properly filtered.
WHERE IS THE SMOKE COMING FROM ?
Of course you can. Your car will just have no power and will use a ton of gas. What the mass air flow does is it measures the amount of air coming into the intake of the engine and it then tells the computer how much fuel to mix in with the air coming in.
Smoke could be coming from the vents of your car for a number of reasons. You may have an internal car fire.
The smoke is actually antifreeze mixed with air. The most common cause of this is a leaky heater core.
F.u.b.a.r.ed it ?
Smoke from fires, car exhaust, smoke from power plants, freon leaking from refrigeration units, and fumes coming from industrial and chemical plants.
The only thing that causes smoke in a car is something burning. Steam or vapor coming from the air conditioner can also look like smoke. More detail especially where the smoke seems to be coming from would be helpful. This sounds like something that needs immediate attention and you should not be driving the car if you cannot find the origin of the smoke.
Yes. The best way to do it is to feed the air coming off the turbo into the intake of the supercharger. Then off the supercharger into the intake. You can have one or more intecoolers. This setup is called Twincharged
you didnt give a model of car, but more than likely it is on the air intake tube that goes to the intake manifold.
You need to buy a cold air intake for your car. It replaces the stock air intake.(the box your air filter is in!)
