Steel is much cheaper, easier to work under die/press and tooling. Security with aluminum need much more engineering because it's more prone the shear, less tolerance to temperature change.
Also, if daily would be made from a material which not rust and almost no decay, they'll make bankrupt, they won't sell as much they sell today. That is the true reason. They know how to make cars which last over 50 years with the same bodies, engines and drivetrains, but what would be the initial cost vs the long term sales ?
I don't know about why about the bridges, it probably has same kind of reasons.
Steel & concrete obsorb tensile & compression respectively. as well as steel acts as a good reinforcement to protect concrete. - Velsamy vM
Steel is used because it is, strong, light, easily formed, easily joined and cheap.
It's conduction of electricity is rarely, if ever, considered.
Ionic has good conductors of electricity
Yes, calcium is a good conductor of heat and electricity. Most metals are good conductors of heat and electricity. Most nonmetals are not good conductors of heat and electricity.
Yes because it is a metal. All metals are good conductors of electricity
Any steel is.
The metals, specifically silver and copper are good conductors.
1. Metals are good conductors of electricity.2.An electrolyte solution conducts electricity.3. Wood and nonmetals are not good conductors of electricity.
Generally speaking, materials that are good conductors of heat are good conductors of electricity. But there is a notable exception. Diamond, an allotrope of carbon, conducts heat better than any metal, but it is an electrical insulator.
Glass and rubber are not good conductors of electricity.
Most metals are good conductors of heat and electricity.
All metals are pretty good conductors of electricity.
Metals are usually good conductors of heat and electricity.
Coins are made of metal and metals are good conductors of electricity.
Ionic has good conductors of electricity
No, they are not good conductors of electricity. Graphite is an exception as despite being a non-metal it conducts electricity. Only metals are good conductors of heat as well as electricity.
yes, steel is a metal and all metals are good conductors of electricity no you are wrong their not every metal is a good conductor yes every metal is a conductor but not all are good conductor.
Yes. US nickels are made of copper and nickel, while Canadian nickels are made of plated steel, all of which are good conductors of electricity.
They aren't necessarily good conductors of both (like diamond, which is a good conductor of heat, but not electricity) Graphite is one that is both, but most of them are metals.
