Living organisms run on biochemical reactions, and these reactions are affected by temperature. Any chemical compound is going to break down at a sufficiently high temperature, and any liquid (other than helium) is going to freeze solid at a sufficiently low temperature. Every organism has an certain temperature range in which it functions most successfully.
Temperature affects enzyme function, which affects how living things carry out everyday processes, like making proteins and other chemical reactions.
At low temperatures, enzyme function is slower, but still working.
At higher temperatures, the enzyme's bonds are destroyed and the enzyme is 'denatured', so it cannot carry out it's function of catalysing reactions any more.
The optimal temperature for humans is 38 degrees celcius, where enzymes function at their peak.
However, other living things are built to withstand excessive heat, such as some bacteria, which can live in places like volcanoes and still carry out reactions and live and thrive.
well it actually depends on what the normal temperature of that living thing is like fish a fishes body temperature can change and it will survive like if you put it in a bowl of water at 110 degrees F. than switch it to a bowl of water at 50 degrees its body temperature would change according to the temperature of the water.
Bases affect living things by killling cell membranes.
The earth's layer affect living things. They can alter their DNA's.
they can but not everything
A catalysts speeds up the reaction in living things.
Abiotic factors (non-living things) affect organisms in many ways. Water, light, gases, temperature and salinity are all non living things but all contibute in the functioning of organisms.

Yes, i beleve that it does affect it.I dont really know.....Someone help me...=)Ashley ♥
no they dont

it can affect the growth of plants
yes but some times no
w
it affects the environments with their chemicals.
they have black people
