Why is the bible the most translated book in the world?

As Christianity is the worlds most popular religion it stands to reason that The Bible is the most in demand book in the world, you would think that perhaps the koran is the second most popular but in fact it is Euclid's "The Elements" the worlds first geometry book.

The prevous answer said it was because the Bible is error free and never changes between translations. I'd just like to comment on that statement.

1. the bible is not error free, any rational christian would have to admit there are several factual errors in the Bible.

2. Any text will change between translations. it's inevitable.
