American Green Tree Frogs got it's name because they're a vibrant green color. They also live in trees. You can find them when it's humid and dark outside. The Australian Green Tree Frog is a White's Tree Frog in America.

The South American tree frog is very poisonous, and it advertises that fact by means of its bright colors, so that predators will know not to eat it. Many different creatures advertise their own toxicity by means of bright colors. (There are also some that pretend to be toxic when they really aren't.)
