Why is the rhinoceros hornbill endangered?

Also called the Indian Rhinoceros, the Greater One Horned Rhino is endangered because of poaching and habitat destruction. Poachers kill the animals for their tusks as the ivory can be sold for a high price on the black market. Their habitat is lost due to deforestation for agriculture.

some tribes threaten great indian hornbills for their feathers, beak and other things for their clothing and other items, plus it's beleived it's flesh is medicinal.it could also be endangered beacause of hunting, since that's a usual thing for why most animals are endangered
