US government officials have claimed that TikTok poses a serious threat to national security. In August of 2020, President Trump issued an executive order to effectively ban any US company or individual from making transactions with ByteDance, the Chinese parent company of the TikTok app, after 45 days. Although users who have already downloaded the app will still have access, starting Sunday, September 20th, no updated versions of the app will be available for download in the US. More restrictions could be announced at a later date.

Preventing user's data from being stolen.
I don’t know
Trump accuses the chinese branded app, Tik Tok of stealing data collected through the app. He banned the app in a attempt to protect peoples security but recently a american company by the name of ByteDance has made deals to buy the app, which might unban the app.
cause Donald Trump says that its cause it was made in china but the real reason why its getting banned is cause people on tick tock are saying donald trump is a bad person and him banning it is proof that they are right
TikTok is from China which we all know that they are Communist.
This is actually a good thing because they steal your data when you post videos. They watch you which is why its getting banned.
I actually like that they are.
Probably `cause they're big distractions and the don't want TikTok dances in their schoolyard.

If your account was permanently banned, there is no getting back on. You will have to start over, and too avoid getting banned, do not break the rules of RuneScape.
