Human eyes, and the eyes of other creatures, work on the visible light spectrum. Humans are highly dependent on their eyes. Some creatures have very primitive eyes compared with humans, and they must rely on other senses.
Visible light is important, especially to us, because it is intimately involved in
the common process of helping us to see things. Maybe if we did not have it
we could find other ways of seeing stuff, but right now we have gotten used
to it so we depend on it as it is hard for us to live our life without it.
These are some of the important things which we could not do without visible light,
and there are a whole lot more of them:
-- see the stop signs while driving
-- read the screen on our smartphone
-- find our way to school
-- figure out the channel numbers on the TV
-- cross the street safely
-- get some enjoyment out of movies
-- appreciate stylish clothes and sunglasses
-- recognize our parents when they are right there
-- eat our food without making a mess
-- understand our IMs when we are on line and on Facebook
-- know which sneakers look better
-- catch a fly-ball
-- play cards
-- pay for things with paper money
-- cook without getting cut or burned
-- read any good books
-- feed our pets and take them for a walk
Visible light is very important and I am glad that we have it and I am sorry
for the people who are blind and who can not see our visible light.
THE END
They emit infrared light waves. Which is a non-visible light.Commonly used to provide light for infrared security cameras when there in little to no light visible light Also used in bathroom heat lamps to transmit the heat waves to your skin I believe (not sure) infrared is lower frequency than visible light and ultraviolet is higher frequency than visible light
The moon is visible to us because it reflects the sun's light.

Human beings use visible light for seeing; green plants use it for photosynthesis. It can also be used to generate electricity, by means of photo-electric cells.

YES. Visible light is the leading cause of death of humans on the Earth and is extremely dangerous. THIS IS IMPORTANT. If you see visible light in the wild, DO NOT APPROACH IT. I am the administrator of the Organization for Protection Of Humans from the Dangers of Visible Light (OPOHDOVL). Always remember to watch out for visible light in the daytime. That's when they get you!
visible light is the only VISIBLE light.
It is certainly a very important part, but it is not a major part; 'visible light' makes up only a tiny part of the EM spectrum.
Infrared waves warm you providing heat and visible waves enable you to see.
The answer is visible light. Visible light is light that can be seen with a naked eye
Visible light is visible (for the human eye), infrared is not. Infrared has a longer wavelength, and a higher frequency. visible light is visible to human i.e the VIBGYOR, above vibgyor are ultravoilet light which is not visible to human eye and below vibgyor are infrared light which is also not visible to human eye.
Yes. visible light is in the electromagnetic spectrum.
exactly what you said its called visible light.
The frequency range of visible light.
No, x-rays are not visible light.
Well, seeing as it seperates visible light, it follows that it only seperates that visible light into the visible spectrum. You can't make radiowaves or UV rays out of visible light.
