The use of windmills and wind turbines can slow global warming. The energy they produce is renewable, that is, it releases no greenhouse gases. Because we have this renewable energy then a little less fossil fuels (coal, oil and natural gas) have to be burnt. As they are the main cause of global warming this is a good thing.
older windmills make more energy than newer windmills
What is the phobia of windmills called? Experts say that the fear of windmills is called Anemophobia and/or Ancraophobia
Windmills use wind energy.
Simply because they are Mills that run on Wind power
Windmills are good renewable resources because they give off wind energy and that helps us alto in life
it is half a renewable and nonrenewable resource
Windmills are not a fossil fuel. Windmills replace the need for fossil fuels because they are renewable, meaning that wind will never cease to exist.
they are renewable resources, even though they take a long time to break even, it is still a source of energy that is renewable, which means it can never run out
Windmills capture electricity from a renewable source, the wind, without releasing any greenhouse gas emissions into the atmosphere. The present buildup of greenhouse gases is causing the enhanced greenhouse effect which has caused global warming. Renewable energy is the way of the future!
Solar powered car's solar panels and windmills relate because they both use renewable energy resources, the sun and wind respectively.
Mostly anything that is dealing with renewable resources like windmills, wave power, can be charged with solar power

It would be naïve to say that there is a completely renewable source of energy. The sun, for example, which is the source of all energy on Earth, will form a Red Giant in a few billion years time, and will produce far less energy than it had in the past. Additionally, although wind (which relies on the sun) is renewable per say, machines to make use of wind energy, such as wind turbines, require maintenance et cetera and are in that sense, not *completely* renewable. However, for our purposes, and especially in contrast to Fossil fuels, the Sun, the wind, the tides et cetera are renewable sources of energy. Windmills are machines which convert the wind's energy into another form of energy. They, themselves, are not "renewable *sources," rather they can make use of a 'renewable' source, 'the wind,' to transform kinetic into potential energy.

Some forms of renewable energy have been used for thousands of years: water power was used by the Romans to grind grain into flour, in the late Middle Ages Europeans were using windmills to grind grain into flour, before electricity was available to remote rural farm across the US and Canada the farmers built windmills to operate water pumps on wells for both drinking and irrigation water.
Windmills and solar panels are good sources of renewable energy, as well as hydroelectric energy found in dams. I have also recently heard of a home heating and cooling system that uses geothermal energy by running pipes through the ground on your property.
