Alice isn't afraid of the Queen of Hearts because she sees through the Queen's blustering behavior as empty threats. Alice realizes the Queen's power is all for show and that she lacks true authority. Additionally, Alice's curiosity and confidence in her own convictions help her stand up to the Queen without fear.
