tangerine was the authors first book and was probably a test run tangerine had a ending that was mostly final even though he could have squezed another book or two out of the series a sequel might have ruind that perfection that the first book modeled
I'm not sure. I don't think that questions can be answered yet. I really hope someone makes a movie of it though. It was a very good book and it deserves to be made into a movie.
