How do you remove air compressor belt on a 94 Honda accord?

On the four cylinder engine, all accessories are run with two belts, one for the power steering pump, the other drives the alternator and a/c compressor, etc. Loosen the bolts holding the power steering pump first. Please note the bolts that mount it are on the driver side of the engine, while the bolts that tension it, face the front of the car. Loosen (no need to remove) the tension bolt, remove the power steering belt. Loosen the bolts on the alternator, loosen the tension bolt on the alternator, push the alternator toward the engine and the belt is now free.

How do youreplace automatic transmission mount on a 2003 ford focus zts 2.3?

The 2003 2.0 se model might be able to help. First you need to take out the battery. then remove the air filter box. You will need to unplug the air sensor. You will have to pry the air box upwards because there are no bolts, only stuck through rubber grommets. gently pry from both sides. You should be able to access all of the bolts to the mount from here, do not loosen them until supporting the engine. Using a piece of 2x4 as a soft point of contact, jack up to the oil pan, and apply pressure to the engine so it will not move too much while you replace the motor mount. Now all you should have to do is remove the bolts, and remove the mount. Put in your new one, and put it back together. Hope this helps.

Diagram on how to replace motor mounts in a 93 Saturn?

On a 96 which possibly are the same for a single overhead cam engine? The hard one is the bottom front mount, take off passenger side tire. Be sure to support the car well as you can get injured because you will jack the engine up also. Behind the rotor take off all the plastic cowling and you will see the engine mount and the bolts that go into it. Jack up the motor via oil pan just enough to take the pressure off the engine mount, not to high as it will bind again. Use a 4x4 piece of a wood 2x4 between the jack and the oil pan, as to not damage the oil pan. Lossen the bolts and take them out. try to lift the engine another 3 inches. You my need to take the bolts on the upper engine mount loose as the mount might bind when trying to jack the engine. When its is rissen you can remove the mount.

How do you change the left hand gearbox mount on an 87 golf cabriolet?

If memory serves the '87 has a solid mount system that is a rubber unit that is molded inside a steel sleeve. Support the engine /tranny with a jack. Remove the chassis bolt that goes through the center of the mount and chassis ear lugs. Remove the bolts that hold the mount and it's adapter to the transmission. Use a hacksaw to cut a slot on the inside sleeve of the mount, just cut the sleeve not the mount adapter. When cut us a hammer to tap the mount out of the holder. Make sure you make a note of the proper orientation of the mount. Position a new mount insert on the adapter and use a 6-10 ton hydraulic press to drive the mount insert into the adapter. Don't try to use a hammer, you'll just bugger up the mount and have to redo it anyway. Installation is the reverse of removal. When done loosen all mount center bolts and start the engine so it will align properly. Shut it down and re-tighten the mounts.
