Zeolites are a mineral that can store up to four times more heat than water. Due to zeolites being extremely porous it is able to pick up moisture.
As the individual exhales through the HME, the filter picks up the moisture from that exhaled breath. That moisture is then picked up on the the next inhalation, thus humidifying that air.
if the zeolites cool faster then the crystals will be larger
A tornado is made up of violently rotating air. It often contains moisture that has condensed as well as dust and sometimes debris that the tornado has picked up.
Richard R. Schmidt has written: 'Zeolites' -- subject(s): Zeolites
Zeolites are a group of minerals which have formed in the pockets or vugs of solidified lava. They are therefore minerals, not rocks.
The platypus should not be picked up by its tail. In fact, it should not be picked up at all.
Sediments can be picked up by wind, and water.
If the object to be picked up is magnetizable, the magnet temporarily magnetizes it allowing it to be picked up. If the object to be picked up is not magnetizable, then it remains unmagnetized and cannot be picked up.
Zeolites are more like a family of mineral ... Some of the more common mineral zeolites are analcime, chabazite, clinoptilolite, heulandite, natrolite, phillipsite, and stilbite. Each has it's own hardness. Most are in the 3-5,5 range.
The past tense of "pick up" is "picked up."
moisture build up
'picked up' = started pick up has the meaning of learning without really trying. I picked up the hobby by watching my friend.
