It is part of the Solar System. The Solar System includes planets, moons, comets, asteroids, a star and dwarf planets like Pluto. It's just not a planet. It never was a planet (according to the new definition).
A planet is a celestial body that (a) has sufficient mass for its self-gravity to overcome rigid body forces so that it assumes a hydrostatic equilibrium (nearly round) shape, and (b) is in orbit around a star, and is neither a star nor a satellite of a planet."
Pluto is no longer considered a planet because it does not fulfill the criteria, but Pluto never stopped being considered a part of the solar system. It still orbits the same star, although it is a very distant orbit.
See related question for more details.
It’s just another Kuiper Belt object.
Pluto still is in the solar system. However, because of its smaller size and gravitational pull, it is no longer considered a planet. Pluto is a dwarf planet.
Pluto is still in the solar system.
However, while it was called a planet, it is now been re-classified as a dwarf planet. This means that while there were 9 planets in the solar system, there are now only 8.
Pluto is to far from the solar system so it is not part of the solar system.
It has no core. The other planets keep it in the gravitational pull. Pluto was found to be nothing more than a floating rock and ice.
Pluto is 16,3456 distace from the sun.
Pluto isn't a planet anymore because it was to small to be considered a planet.
smallest planet. (pluto is not a planet anymore)
You mean in OUR solar system. lol. Mercury is now the smallest because Pluto isn't considered a planet anymore.
Pluto is not outside the Solar System, but it is not considered as a planet anymore because the size of Pluto is so small, the scientists at NASA decided to call it a dwarf planet.
Pluto, but some consider that Pluto is not a planet anymore.
Pluto was classified as a dwarf planet last 2005. Pluto was too small to be considered as a planet anymore. Its orbit was also not like any of what we call our planets. There are three dwarf planets in our solar system.
No Pluto isn't a planet anymore. Scientists said its too small to be counted as a Planet.

It isn't a planet. It doesn't exist in the solar system anymore. As a dwarf planet, but not as a proper planet.
yes is was not included as it is not a major planet it is a dwarf planet! Nice to help!!!
Not all of them, but some. Pluto for example, is not a planet, but an asteroid, and it is included in the solar System.
plunto = Pluto by the way, but no as Pluto is not a planet anymore

no, a dwarf planet
