Yes poor reproductive succes does lead to extinction most of the time. for example the whooping crane reproduces very slowly. The first fledging to emerge from its egg kills its brother or sister. Less animals, slow reproduction. If there were ever accidents or if the animal died, and they never had babies, the more and more often that this happens the more likely that animal is to eventually become extinct.
Because no babies means no big people or animals.
They all ate or drank contaminated water or insects. The huge oil spill will be killing alot of our poor animals to the point of extinction.
Help them by not cutting bamboo trees off and by putting poachers in jail You can also stop littering in lakes, oceans, ponds, etc. You can also clean up trash from front yard, road, side walks, places, etc. Not only that but you can help animals by giving them food that is healthy or buy some(if you have any animal food please give to them) but if you feel uncomfortable and worried that the animal, animals will stay in your yard feed them some where off your lawn or on a sidewalk or what ever makes you happy. Other helpful things would be donating an animal you spot to a animal orphanage and to keep any poor kittens, puppies, or any other poor baby animals being born go to an animal doctor clinic and ask them to get it fixed, that would help baby animals from being born. Lastly any other things you can think of please members add any information to this page.

yes it can suffer from the same trauma as humans and a broken leg untended can infect and lead to a great deal of suffering for the poor thing
There are over 15 causes of extinction. The top five causes are habitat destruction, invasive species, pollution, population, over harvesting and over hunting.
Poor genes can lead to extinction by causing lives to become shorter due to higher incidences of death by disease or weakness. These poor genes combine with other poor genes to create people or animals that are unable to live long and healthy lives.
Possible species extinction because of over-poaching.
