A prescription is very important as we do not what drugs are in the tablets, and what may cause an allergy,or even have side affects, and if a death occurs , then the doctor will get arrested.

∙ 14y agoThey aren't "good",all prescription drugs have side effects,some of which are worse than the ailment they are given to treat.Its always a game of weighing up the pro's and cons the benefits versus the side effects.Some drugs do have alot of benefits with few side effects,but not many.
Pain killers are "good" at killing pain,but they also cause,nausea,constipation,diarreoha,addiction,dependancy ,mental confusion,depressed breathing and even death.
So I would not put them under the "good" catagory,they are tools and they all have faults.

Having multiple drugs monitored by a clinician who understands drug-drug interactions is especially important.
