Well some people like poems because they sooth you and make you feel calm. Also some poems can be funny i had to do a project just yesterday on poems and I read a poem made by this really good author but i forgot his name.

Unlike other forms of literature, this ability of poetry to make human mind to move and be kinetic, and at times with the apt poetry, pushed to take off like an aero plane, is a rare and pleasant experience which accounts for the acceptance of poetry above all other literary forms.
