Then when you find that some of the onions are useless what i did was microwave them to a heat hot enough to sooth your ear. By the end of all that my earache of 4 days was gone in 20 minutes. The onion juice is supposed to kill the bacteria. But the onion itself is moist enough so you only have to stick some of the actual onion in there to get the effect. The heat from the microwaved onions is supposed to also get rid of the earache. Another thing that you could do that i haven't tried if that doesn't work for you, (which it should) is maybe blend some onion. Or use a juicer and put a few drops of that in your ears at a time. But i haven't tried this so....Good luck! this is not true if you do this you are risking getting a very bad infection along with then having to get your ear syringed or vacumed which is very painful
